Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Ottumwa, IA, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

OB/GYN combined unit in a hospital setting
Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Floating within the hospital to other units as needed
Patient ratios: 1:1 for active labor, 3:1 for couplet care
Equipment includes intermediate fetal monitoring and Philips Tracevue
EMR: Meditech

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. — AHA certifications required
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidate must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
Permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
