Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience with strong orthopedic skills and on-call availability.

Details

• Surgery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with variable start times
• On-call required based on department needs, currently averaging 1–2 evenings per weekday and every 3rd weekend
• Holiday coverage is handled via on-call rotation with regular staff
• Floating may be required within skill set, either within the facility or to sites within 40 miles
• EPIC EMR in use

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR (operating room) experience required
• Strong orthopedic (Ortho) experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• 13-week contract
