Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend night shift travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Washington State, with at least 1 year of adult acute care experience required.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
• CT Scan department within Diagnostic Imaging
• Patient population includes adults; ICU and pediatric experience preferred
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, brain perfusion, spine and MSK, vascular CTA, and MRP
• Contrast prep required; experience with aspirations, biopsies, and starting IVs preferred
• GE and Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Charting in Epic (experience required)
• 3x12-hour weekend night shifts, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• No call required
• Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Washington State

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience in adult acute care; Emergency Department experience required
• ICU and pediatric experience preferred
• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Active Washington State license required (pending license not accepted)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, brain perfusion, spine and MSK, vascular CTA, and MRP
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
