Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital position working day shifts with adult and geriatric populations using Epic EMR.
Details
- Acute care hospital inpatient setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Rotating weekend shifts, with 3–6 weekend shifts per contract
- Epic EMR used for documentation
Requirements
- Current PT license required if applicable
- Prior acute care experience required; first-time travelers with acute care clinical rotation experience may be considered
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
- Current certifications must be provided
- Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
Additional Information
- The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid all substances that could cause a positive drug screen result prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
- First-time travelers will be considered if they have prior acute care clinical rotation experience and comfort in the acute care setting
