Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Cardiac/Nephrology Med/Surg night shift position in Nashville, TN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Located on the 4th Floor Cardiac/Nephrology unit of a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center hospital in Nashville, TN
• 34-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts required per 13-week schedule
• Floating to other departments based on census and staffing need
• Unit staffed with Unit Secretaries (day shift) and PCTs on all shifts
• Documents using Meditech EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN state license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs not accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs are required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• This is a travel position; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility do not qualify
