Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Liberty, MO, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

Radiology department, CT Scan unit
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Every weekend schedule
Holiday coverage required for 2 holidays
EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts), no prior experience required — noted to be very similar to Cerner
No floating or on-call requirements

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
Current ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications
License required if applicable
Ability to maintain pace in a larger, busy hospital environment — larger hospital experience is preferred
Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

New graduate candidates will not be considered
Orientation spans approximately 5 days: Days 1–2 are system-wide orientation, Day 3 covers facility and clinical orientation, Day 4 continues clinical orientation, and Day 5 involves computer training before being released to the unit
This is a nicotine-free facility
Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
