Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and the ability to float within skill set or to nearby sites.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Hospital Med-Surg/Step Down unit setting (7W)
• Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, either PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry, based on skills
• Both M/S and Step Down RN backgrounds are acceptable with the same credentialing requirements for each
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to facilities within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted, but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
