Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Savannah, GA, requiring Level I or II trauma experience and the ability to circulate across all surgical service lines.

Details

• Hospital-based OR setting with 30 operating rooms
• Serves all surgical service lines, including incoming traumas, at a Level I trauma center
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Unit staffed with OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, and Anesthesia Techs
• Night shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM on a block schedule
• No call, no floating, and no weekend requirements
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
• Level I or Level II trauma center experience required
• Ability to circulate across all surgical service lines
• CNOR certification preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• Navy scrubs required; home laundered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• The facility is a regional leader in trauma, pediatric, cancer, cardiovascular, and women's services
