Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and AHA-only certifications in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting.

Details

• Work in a fast-paced hospital Emergency Department treating a diverse patient population
• Patient population includes urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
• Advanced clinical skills utilized include medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tube management
• 13-week contract with 12-hour shifts at 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a US hospital required
• AHA-only certifications required (BLS at minimum; please confirm applicable certifications with your recruiter)
• CPI certification required for this position
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
