Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Ambulatory Care RN with a minimum of 2 years of ambulatory care experience, ideally with a background in neurology or complex pediatric conditions.

Details

  • Pediatric ambulatory care setting specializing in neurology, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, autism, and chronic/complex care
  • Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • No weekends or on-call requirements
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of ambulatory care nursing experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) required

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include triaging and managing patient communications via phone and patient portal
  • Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and modifies individualized plans of care across the healthcare continuum
  • Documentation must be clear, complete, and concise, using SBAR format where applicable to meet nursing standards
  • Experience in neuro/epilepsy nursing is a plus
  • Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a rate differential
