Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Ambulatory Care RN with a minimum of 2 years of ambulatory care experience, ideally with a background in neurology or complex pediatric conditions.
Details
- Pediatric ambulatory care setting specializing in neurology, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, autism, and chronic/complex care
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ambulatory care nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include triaging and managing patient communications via phone and patient portal
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and modifies individualized plans of care across the healthcare continuum
- Documentation must be clear, complete, and concise, using SBAR format where applicable to meet nursing standards
- Experience in neuro/epilepsy nursing is a plus
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a rate differential
