Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU acute care experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Works in a multidisciplinary ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Patient population includes neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
• Technology used includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Cerner EMR is used and experience is required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA-issued only)
• CPI certification is required for this position
• Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience in a US hospital required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
