Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring at least 2 years of acute care ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in a multidisciplinary ICU within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
• Technology utilized includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA-issued only)
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
• Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience in a US hospital required
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

• Provides a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements to meet the needs of patients, families, and the community
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
