Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Adult Medical Oncology position requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and prior oncology experience.
Details
- Work in an adult medical oncology unit (Weinberg 4A) within a large academic hospital setting
- 18-bed unit serving solid tumor patients in an acute care, med/surg telemetry environment
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage on an as-needed basis per unit needs
- One 12-hour on-call shift required every six weeks
- Alaris pumps experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
- Prior oncology nursing experience required
- At least 1–2 prior travel assignments required
- Experience in a facility with 500+ beds required
Additional Information
- Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One reference required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate as travelers
