Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Epic EMR experience and a valid IL RN license.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
Inpatient obstetric patient population, including intrapartum care, labor, vaginal and surgical delivery, and newborn care
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
No on-call requirements
Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
Epic EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
ASN required; BSN preferred
English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required

Additional Information

Provides comprehensive care to inpatient obstetric patients, including fetal monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and participation in intrapartum and surgical delivery care
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
