Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an Interventional NeuroRadiology unit, requiring straight IR experience and GE/Siemens equipment knowledge.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in an Interventional NeuroRadiology unit
- Straight IR (Interventional Radiology) cases only — no cross-specialty assignments
- Procedures include angiography (TIPS, angioplasty) and thrombectomy procedures (PE/Stroke)
- GE and/or Siemens imaging equipment used
- 10-hour day shifts
- Every other weekend is required
- On-call coverage is required
Requirements
- ARRT (RT) registration required
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- MA Radiologic Technology license required if applicable
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- GE and/or Siemens equipment proficiency required
- COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions accepted)
Additional Information
- Candidates with extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) and experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty are preferred
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays (excluding holidays)
- Candidates who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility as a traveler, permanent, or per diem employee within the last 6 months are not eligible — a 6-month break from any BILH facility is required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis for this specialty
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Interview availability dates and times must be provided at the time of consideration
- Parking near this Boston-area facility can be costly — candidates should plan accordingly
