Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an acute care hospital radiology department performing X-ray and CT imaging on rotating 8/10-hour night shifts.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a radiology department performing X-ray and CT imaging, including general radiology, portables, and CT general studies
• Charting system is TruBridge/Evident; facility also uses Epic (EMR), Toshiba CT, Carestream DR, Canon DR, and Fuji PACS
• Rotating 8 and 10-hour shifts; set shifts are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts are required; holiday coverage may be required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active WV state license required if applicable
• Experience with CT imaging, general radiology, and portable studies
• A valid, unexpired driver's license is required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform general radiology, portable imaging, and CT studies in a hospital radiology department
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply one
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying; cumulative time worked within the WVU system may not exceed one year before a 2-year break is required
• Two references are required for consideration, including at least one supervisor reference; if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one supervisor reference must be from that facility
• Any background hits must be disclosed upfront for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
