Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position in Kentucky, requiring 2+ years of LTACH experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting
Patient ratios of 1:4
Telemetry monitoring as part of patient care
Meditech EMR in use
Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12 or 4x12 hours per two-week pay period)
Every other weekend required
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience required
Background in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or ICU accepted
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

13-week contract
Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
Provide acute nursing care to long-term critically ill patients in an LTAC setting
