Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position in Kentucky, requiring 2+ years of LTACH experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting
- Patient ratios of 1:4
- Telemetry monitoring as part of patient care
- Meditech EMR in use
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12 or 4x12 hours per two-week pay period)
- Every other weekend required
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Requirements
- Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience required
- Background in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or ICU accepted
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- 13-week contract
- Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
- Provide acute nursing care to long-term critically ill patients in an LTAC setting
