Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) position in Kentucky, requiring 2+ years of LTACH experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting
  • Patient ratios of 1:4
  • Telemetry monitoring as part of patient care
  • Meditech EMR in use
  • Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12 or 4x12 hours per two-week pay period)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

  • Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience required
  • Background in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or ICU accepted
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • 13-week contract
  • Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
  • Provide acute nursing care to long-term critically ill patients in an LTAC setting
