Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a mobile MRI role at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

Mobile MRI Tech position within a large 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift
Daily caseload varies
Siemens MRI equipment used
Charting via Epic
No on-call requirement
Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
Current BLS (AHA) required
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
Siemens MRI experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
SC state license required if applicable
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on unit and manager needs
Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
During hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
Parking is free on nights and weekends; a one-time $20 parking pass fee applies for other times
