Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for an inpatient rehab assignment at a Level III trauma hospital in Texas.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a 450-bed acute care hospital with a census of approximately 360 patients
- Level III trauma hospital serving patients across 7 floors
- Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, oncology, post-op spine, general med/surg, and ICU (medical, cardiac, and surgical) cases
- Staffing includes 8-10 PTs and 6-8 PTAs per day
- Works closely with OT, speech therapy, and case management teams
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active Texas PT license required; pending licensure accepted
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
