Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech for a 13-week travel contract in Wilson, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab scrub experience and ACLS certification.

Details

• Position is based in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited community hospital
• 1 lab with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including CAD, PAD, NSTEMI, PE, and DVT
• Cath Lab scrub required; PCI and Peripheral Intervention experience preferred
• Equipment includes GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo
• EMR: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Schedule is four 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Float to Interventional Radiology required

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS and either RRT or RCIS (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Cath Lab scrub skills required
• Education: Rad Tech or RCIS credential required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Bi-weekly orientation; available orientation dates are 4/13, 4/27, and 5/11
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Located in Wilson, NC — approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh and within 2 hours of the NC coast
