Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position in Boston, MA, requiring at least 2 years of recent Level II or III NICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

  • 21-bed NICU with 15 Level III and 6 Level II beds
  • Patient assignments: Level III at 1:1 and 1:2 ratios; Level II at 1:3 ratio
  • 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, day/night rotation
  • Every other weekend required
  • Every other holiday required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Minimum 2 recent years of NICU Level II or Level III experience required
  • Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B) — test may only be taken twice
  • 2 professional references required for consideration: at least one must be manager-level or above (title must reflect 'Manager,' not 'Supervisor'), with a performance evaluation included; one reference must be from within the last 12 months and the other within the last 3 years
  • References from fellow travelers are not accepted
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration
