Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU/Step-Down position requiring Epic EMR experience and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Details

CVICU/Step-Down unit in an acute care hospital setting
Patient population includes post-op CABG, vascular, and ICU status patients
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both AHA)
Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
Epic EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
ASN required; BSN preferred

Additional Information

Provide direct care to CVICU patients including post-op CABG, vascular, and ICU status patients
Responsible for initial patient assessments, plan of care development, and ongoing care modifications
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any facility within this health system
