Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a community hospital CT department, requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and proficiency with GE equipment and Epic EMR.

Details

• 240-bed community hospital with a 16-bed ICU
• CT department setting
• Day shift schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Weekend shifts required
• Patient caseload ratio: 1:6 on days, 1:2 on nights, and 1:3 on weekends
• Uses GE imaging equipment
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Floating within scope may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• This is a block schedule opening
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT specialty experience, with at least 1 full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months and no employment gap greater than 90 days in the past year
• Both Kansas and Missouri licenses, or a compact license, must be in hand at time of consideration, as floating between facilities may be required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with GE CT equipment required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility — locals are not accepted
• 2 professional references required: at least one must be supervisor level or above; the second may be a charge RN; all references must be from someone who has worked with the candidate within the past year
