Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring an active NY RN license, Epic proficiency, and a background managing complex critical care patients on night shifts.

Details

• 16-bed Medical ICU within a hospital setting
• High-acuity patient population including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, post-cardiac arrest/targeted temperature management, respiratory failure/shock, and ECMO
• Advanced equipment and therapies in use include CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with occasional 1:1 assignments based on acuity
• Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within skillset
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MICU or critical care RN experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required
