Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract in Maine, requiring charge and preceptor experience and active ME licensure.

Details

Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in York, Maine
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Shift times may vary occasionally to 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM based on census
No on-call responsibilities
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license in the State of Maine (ME) or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS and ACLS
PALS certification preferred
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience
Prior charge nurse experience required
Prior preceptor experience required

Additional Information

Candidate must be able to serve in a charge nurse capacity
Candidate must be willing to precept other staff
Located in York, Maine, close to local beaches and coastal amenities
