Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract in Maine, requiring charge and preceptor experience and active ME licensure.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in York, Maine
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Shift times may vary occasionally to 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM based on census
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Maine (ME) or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS and ACLS
- PALS certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Prior charge nurse experience required
- Prior preceptor experience required
Additional Information
- Candidate must be able to serve in a charge nurse capacity
- Candidate must be willing to precept other staff
- Located in York, Maine, close to local beaches and coastal amenities
