Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a weekend day shift position in a hospital CT Scan department, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a TX Radiologic Technologist license.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan department
• Performs CT imaging as primary responsibility; X-ray experience preferred
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• Weekend-variable schedule
• On-call requirements apply
• 13-week contract
• Floating within the facility as needed
• Equipment includes GE 32-slice Rev EVO and Toshiba 32-slice CT scanners, 4 GE imaging rooms (1 full-field digital, 2 retrofitted with Carestream digital), 3 digital portables (2 GE, 1 Carestream), and 5 GE C-arms
• Documents using Meditech RIS; experience preferred
• GE PACS system in use

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of CT Technologist experience required; active experience within the last 6 months required
• CT Tech experience mandatory; X-ray experience preferred
• GE equipment experience required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active TX Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Must have a US SSN and DOB on file for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Performs CT imaging and X-ray procedures
• Meditech RIS experience preferred but not required
• Scrubs are not provided by the facility; gray or solid-colored scrubs preferred
• Facility dress code includes no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails; neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer; body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
