Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with extensive neuro experience and circulating skills for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room (OR)
• Neuro-focused OR position requiring general circulating experience
• Experience with robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology cases is expected
• Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM with on-call responsibilities
• Charting is performed in Cerner EMR
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or compact license valid in AZ required
• Current BLS certification required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Extensive neuro OR experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Experience with robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology strongly preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2+ years of OR experience is required
