Description

American Traveler is hiring a float RN for a home health position in the South Region of Massachusetts, requiring at least 1 year of certified home care and case management experience with an active MA RN license.

Details

• Float RN role covering multiple communities across the South Region, including areas such as Newton, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Waltham, and surrounding towns
• Home health setting with a patient population spanning birth through geriatric age
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required once every 6 weeks
• On-call and holiday coverage required based on departmental rotation
• EMR: Epic (charting experience required)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of certified home care experience required
• Minimum 1 year of case management experience required
• Reliable, independent means of transportation required for home visits
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, implementing individualized care plans, and providing ongoing education and support to patients and their families
• Admissions and case management duties are performed in accordance with organizational policies, including thorough electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication
• Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
• Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate expense, and public transportation is encouraged
