Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least one year of recent OR experience and active BLS certification.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting
• Day shift schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active OR RN license in the state of practice required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Active BLS certification required (no pending certifications accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent OR experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• CNOR and ACLS preferred
• 3–5 years of OR circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Pre-op area skills preferred
• IV start skills preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs both circulating and scrubbing duties in the OR
• Epic EMR experience is relevant to this role
• Local candidates are accepted; local and travel rates are the same
• Per facility policy, contingent workers who have reached two cumulative years on assignment must take a 90-day break before returning, regardless of whether the work was continuous or included prior gaps of less than three months
