Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU position at a Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center facility, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability.

Details

• 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit
• Comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility with the ability to provide complex care to PCI and open-heart surgery patients
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Epic EMR (experience preferred)
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Idaho or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1-2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Travel experience not required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
