Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an acute care hospital position in a Level III trauma facility in Texas.
Details
- 450-bed hospital with a census of approximately 360 patients across 7 floors
- Level III trauma hospital serving ortho, neuro, oncology, post-op spine, general med/surg, and ICU (medical, cardiac, and surgical) patients
- Works closely with OT and ST teams as well as case management
- Staffing includes 8–10 PTs and 6–8 PTAs per day
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour days, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Epic charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active Texas PT license required; pending licensure accepted
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
- Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be granted during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or group placements are not accepted for this role
