Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with inpatient/subacute experience for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment working day shifts in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Details

Inpatient rehab unit with a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed patients
Primary patient population is orthopedic, with additional exposure to geriatric, pediatric, and vestibular patients
Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours (8:00–16:30)
No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
Floating between inpatient and outpatient settings required
Charting via Redoc EMR

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience required
Strong inpatient and subacute experience strongly preferred
Ability to work competently in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
Active PT license required; pending license accepted if active by start date
Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
Teal scrubs or business casual attire required
2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial submission
