Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a regional medical center
  • Full spectrum of emergency care setting, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center
  • Varied day and night shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active Maine (ME) or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
  • At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
  • Clean license with no hits or disciplinary actions on license or background

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include patient assessment on admission and throughout stay, administration of IV medications, therapy, and blood products, patient education, and thorough documentation of nursing care
  • Previous employees of this facility are not eligible for this position
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply but will be offered a reduced local pay rate
