Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic hospital in Cleveland, OH, requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an Ohio or Compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large academic hospital setting
- Day/night rotating shifts: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Shift preference will be accommodated when possible, but the facility reserves the right to rotate shifts to meet operational needs
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required, prior to any travel assignments
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with an acceptable passing score on both
- A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
Additional Information
- Two professional references are required
- Must work at least every other holiday
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any campus within this health system
