Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with CT specialty certification and 2+ years of experience for overnight shifts at a Level II trauma center in Bay Shore, NY.

Details

• 375-bed Level II trauma center and designated Gold Plus stroke facility
• Serves ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings with both adult and pediatric populations
• Imaging equipment includes Siemens Somatom AS, Somatom Definition Edge CT, and Siemens 64/128 Definition scanners
• Overnight shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
• RT(R)(CT) certification through ARRT required
• NYS DOH Radiography License required (license required if applicable)
• NYS DOH Injection Certification required
• Only AHA-issued BLS is accepted
• Flexibility required
• Trauma experience preferred
• Cardiac CTA experience preferred
• Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
• Grey/pewter scrubs required
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Northwell/Nuvance Health location are subject to an eligibility review process prior to placement
