Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in an acute care hospital's Cardiovascular Testing/Nuclear Medicine unit, requiring at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience along with CNMT or ARRT (N) certification.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting within a Nuclear Medicine/Cardiovascular Testing unit
  • General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures performed
  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week with flexibility to meet department needs
  • No weekend shifts required
  • No floating requirement
  • On-call rotation required with a 1-hour response time; on-call hours are Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–7:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
  • Charting performed in Cerner

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
  • ISDOH required; CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS and NMTCB (PET) certification required
  • CPR certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • PET/CT registration and/or experience preferred
  • Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties
  • Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
  • No BSN required for this position
  • First-time travelers will be considered as long as minimum requirements are met
