Description
American Traveler is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Frederick, MD, with a diverse caseload spanning neurological, behavioral health, orthopedic, post-surgical, and critical care patients.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month required
- Diverse caseload including neurological, behavioral health, orthopedic, post-surgical, and critical care patients
- Documentation performed using a web-based EMR system
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAOTE-accredited OT program
- Active Maryland OT license or eligibility required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
- New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply
- Proficiency with EMR systems required
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Additional Information
- Deliver outcomes-driven occupational therapy services with autonomy in managing your schedule and patient care
- Educate patients and families on individualized treatment plans
- Holiday rotation includes one major and one minor holiday per year
- Work within a collaborative, therapist-led team environment emphasizing continuing education and professional growth
