Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care Magnet facility, requiring 2+ years of IR experience, ARRT certification, and weekend on-call availability.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 377-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weekend availability is required
- On-call requirements include one weekday shift per week (4:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and one three-day weekend per month (Fri–Sun), with Friday coverage from 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM and Saturday/Sunday coverage from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Free parking available on-site
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Must be available for on-call shifts as outlined in the schedule
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- All requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrubs in any color are accepted; L&D and OR scrubs are provided
- Minimal RTO is preferred for this position
