Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting in Denver, CO
• 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Associate's degree (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (must be AHA and valid through start date): BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is required
