Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a 212-bed facility
• CT Scan unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Possible shift start times are 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM — candidates must be open to all shift times and cannot request a specific shift
• Shift options include day shifts (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) and night shifts (5:00 PM–5:30 AM), 3x12-hour schedule
• Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit need
• No on-call requirement
• No floating within the unit; however, travelers may be expected to float between all facilities within the state
• Self-scheduling based on seniority
• Block scheduling available based on unit need
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free on-site parking available

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Active BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, and CT certifications required
• California CRT license required (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active professional license required at time of consideration
• Pending licenses are not accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — post-submission or post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
