Description

American Traveler is seeking a multi-modality Radiologic Technologist with CT and X-Ray proficiency, California licensure, and a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience for a travel assignment.

Details

• Multi-modality position requiring both CT and X-Ray skillset
• Imaging performed on a Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• 4x10 hour mid shifts, Friday through Monday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• On-call required 2-3 nights per week, following a shift for up to 5 hours

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT, with recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC) required
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT required
• Current certification in at least one advanced modality (CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET) required, with ability to perform duties in at least one additional advanced modality
• Active California Radiologic Technologist license required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• IV certification required, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Candidates must have no prior hits on their license
• 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• RTO exceeding 5 days will result in automatic declination by the facility
• A completed skills checklist specific to this specialty, completed within the past year, is required for consideration
• All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
