Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Boston, MA, requiring Level 1 trauma experience and a minimum of 3 years of inpatient surgery experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Operating Room setting
  • Day shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00am–7:30pm
  • 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
  • Level 1 trauma environment with high-acuity surgical cases
  • Candidate must be competent in at least 5 surgical service lines

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Active BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery experience required
  • Level 1 trauma experience required
  • Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager-level or above (title must reflect 'Manager,' not 'Supervisor'), including a performance evaluation; one reference must be from within the last 12 months, the other within the last 3 years
  • References may not come from another traveler
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B) — test may only be taken twice

Additional Information

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Level 1 trauma OR setting
  • Candidates must be proficient across a broad range of surgical service lines
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
  • First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but a minimum of 3 years of specialty experience is required
