Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience performing TTE, TEE, stress echo, and contrast studies across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Details

• Positions are available across inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and cath lab settings
• Performs echocardiography and related diagnostic imaging procedures
• 5x8-hour day shifts with a rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation
• EMR systems include Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
• Equipment includes Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of echo technologist experience required
• RDCS and current BLS (AHA) required
• CCI registry credential required (RCS, RVS, RCCS, or RCIS) or ARDMS (RVT)
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in TTE, TEE, contrast echocardiography (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, exercise stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo
• Left-handed scanning ability preferred
• Some pediatric TTE experience preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
