Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in the imaging/CT department
- Performs routine CT scans per radiologist protocols, with additional opportunities for advanced procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular and cardiac imaging, trauma, and stroke studies
- Advanced imaging techniques including MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging
- Uses Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- 10-hour varied shifts with no on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable
- Ability to function independently without supervision
- Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption required prior to contract start
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Additional Information
- Must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to assignment start; plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to attend a Friday Employee Health clearance appointment
- Experience with venipuncture is a plus
- Experience with vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, stroke, biopsies, or drainage procedures is a plus
- No time off is implied during the initial orientation and clearance period
