Description

American Traveler is hiring an interim Director of Nursing (DON) for a 12-week travel assignment in a post-acute/LTC management setting, requiring a valid IA or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Interim Director of Nursing role within a skilled nursing/rehab environment
Day shift, 8-hour shifts
40 hours per week
PointClickCare (PCC) EMR used in this position
May be required to work the floor as needed to cover shifts

Requirements

Active Iowa (IA) or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Prior LTC or post-acute management experience strongly applicable to this role
PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred given its use in this setting

Additional Information

Serving in an interim leadership capacity, overseeing nursing operations for the duration of the assignment
Must be flexible to work the floor and cover clinical shifts as needed
No formal orientation hours are associated with this assignment
BSN is not required for this position
12-week contract assignment
