Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 1 academic medical center, requiring at least 1 year of experience and proficiency in advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, ECMO, and EP ablations.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 356-bed academic, research, and tertiary care medical center in St. Louis, MO
- Mid-shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Weekend on-call required: 1 weekend per month (2 days of call)
- Average daily census of 15–18 cases
- Procedures performed include: TAVR, right and left heart catheterization, coronary angiography, Impella insertion, ECMO, IABP, TEE, cardioversion, EP ablations, pacemaker implants, ICD implants, Watchman, MitraClips, lead extractions and reimplantation, and ECHO
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or valid Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS and BLS
- Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and TNCC
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Circulating and scrub skills required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
