Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and the ability to float within skill set or to nearby sites.

Details

• Hospital-based Med-Surg/Step Down unit (7W)
• Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, based on skills
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set on-site or to facilities within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience required
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both
• Local candidates are accepted; however, a reduced pay rate may apply depending on proximity to the facility
• Full SSN and full date of birth are required for consideration
