Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a high-volume CT Scan department at a Trauma Level IV teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification.

Details

• Work in the CT Scan department of a 182-bed Trauma Level IV teaching hospital that also serves as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
• Patients include a variety of diagnoses across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• Average of 325 patients per day across modalities
• Uses Siemens and GE CT equipment; EMR is Epic
• 12-hour day shifts, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
• This is a weekend-only position; candidate will work all weekends
• Schedule cycles every 4 weeks
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of core CT Scan experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• Active license required if applicable
• NC state licensure is not required
• Photo ID required as part of the compliance process
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Orientation includes online NEO courses followed by 3–5 days of departmental training
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Time off requests are subject to manager approval
• Team-oriented, high-volume department culture with a focus on patient-centered care
• Black scrubs required

• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
