Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at an acute care facility in Marion, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Position is in the Acute Care Services / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
13-week contract

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
Current NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required for PCU RNs
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a PCU or similar acute care specialty
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
One professional reference required

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
